Expansion Joint Covers

Expansion Joint

An expansion joint is a structural gap between adjacent parts of a structure that allows for the safe movement of those parts, caused by temperature, ground movement, wind sway etc, preventing damage to internal and external finishes.

Expansion Joint Covers

An EJC provides a covered transition across an expansion joint gap, which remains unaffected by movement of the two surfaces either side of the joint protecting floor coverings.

Benchmark Site Installations Ltd

Benchmark has been installing EJC’s throughout the UK since 2011 including Hospitals, Airports, Car Parks, Schools, Shopping Centres and numerous other buildings.

Since 2011 we have been the sole contractor to carry out installations on behalf of Conspec Contracts (The installation division of CS Group) of EJC’s and have built up an extensive knowledge of their products and installation requirements. This has been for both the replacement of damaged EJC’s (including breaking out and re-installing) and new builds.

Benchmark has worked closely with CS Group staff, including site visits with sales to help with advise for clients, procurement to ensure correct materials are ordered and the installation division to ensure projects run smoothly and on time.

Upon CS Groups decision to stop offering a supply and installation service in August 2022, Benchmark have become the preferred installation company of CS Group EJC products and we feel this is justification for our dedication to offering a service we feel is unapparelled in the industry.

Benchmark is now offering a supply and installation service to the clients we have worked with on behalf of CS Group and new clients that we look forward to working with.
